Le Vieux Crêt Chalet, Val d'Isere Centre
4 bedroom Chalet in Val d'Isere. Sleeps 8-10.
Le Vieux Crêt Chalet was the original chalet on the eponymous “crêt” or ridge of the increasingly fashionable Le Crêt area, just at the entrance of Val d’Isère. The village centre is ten minutes’ walk in one direction, the Funival ten minutes in the other. The nearest bus stop is two minutes away for the free and frequent buses.
Part of a 1620s farmhouse its walls are as thick as ever, its granite roof heavy and it has an enormous sitting room that is at the heart of the chalet, boasting a log fire and a wide-screen TV with surround-sound home cinema and every satellite channel known to man. There is a separate dining room and a mezzanine.
The chalet has its own sauna with shower on the ground floor, perfect for those post-ski aches and pains. There is also a garden and boot warmers.
Guests have use of a private Land Rover shuttle whilst in resort between 08:30-10:00 and 15:30-20:00.
The chalet comes with wifi.
