Ski Season Opening Dates Val d'Isere

Discover the latest Val d'Isere lift opening & closing dates

Updated

The extensive network of Val d'Isere lifts are open both in summer and winter. For the winter season, snow cover permitting, the Tignes & Val d'Isère ski area is scheduled to open from:

Winter Season Dates 2020/21
Following French government announcement on 20th January 2021, the ski-lifts are closed indefinitely. We therefore do not anticipate the lifts will open for Winter 2020/21 as this is economically unviable for the lift companies at this point
Ski resorts are OPEN but lifts remain closed; there is a national curfew from 18h-6h currently in France, with tighter measure likely from end of January
Tuesday 15th December 2020 to Sunday 2nd May 2021

The Tignes ski area will also be open from 17th to 29th October 2020

Season start and end dates may vary slightly as they are dependent on snow conditions, and there may be a reduced ski area in operation if snow cover is insufficient.
