La Maison du Rocher was the original chalet on the eponymous “crêt” or ridge of the increasingly fashionable Le Crêt area, just at the entrance of Val d’Isère.
The village centre is ten minutes’ walk in one direction, the Funival ten minutes in the other. The nearest bus stop is two minutes away for the free and frequent buses.
The enormous sitting room is at the heart of this chalet, boasting a log fire and a wide-screen TV with surround-sound home cinema and every satellite channel known to man to enjoy from the comfort of the bottomless hand-made British sofas with duck-down cushions. There is a separate dining room.
The chalet has its own sauna with shower on the ground floor, perfect for those post-ski aches and pains. There is also a garden and boot warmers.
Guests have use of a private Land Rover shuttle whilst in resort between 08:30-10:00 and 15:30-20:00.
The chalet comes with wifi.
