A chance to tackle the legendary Col de l'Iseran - the highest mountain road pass in Europe, at 2,770 metres.

Every year the road that climbs from Val d’Isère to Bonneval sur Arc via the Col de l’Iseran is reserved for cyclists.

Traffic and pedestrians are not allowed outside the specific areas and footpaths along the D902 road between the Tourist Office roundabout, the Col de l’Iserane and Bonneval from 08:00 to 13:00.
Refreshments will be provided at the top of the pass.

Timetable for the day

08:00: Registrations open for the raffle in the Tourist Office square and is closed to motorised vehicles
08.30: Road opens for the cycling event
10.30: Raffle registrations close
From 11:00 until 13:00: Concert
From 12.30: Raffle draw in the Tourist Office square

We recommend you get up there by 10:00.

Upcoming Events

Val d'Isère hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. There are constant ski racing competitions throughout the winter, as well as the much anticipated La Scara youth event each April. In the summer, the resort plays home to some major trail running events such as the High Trail Vanoise in July, with Tour de France stages often passing nearby in July.
