This 74m2 apartment is situated within the Refuge de Solaise at 2551m altitude and accessible only via the ski slopes and the new Solaise Gondola.
Thanks to its exceptional location, this apartment offers stunning views of both sunrise and sunset, with the sun rising about two hours earlier in the morning and setting three hours later in the evening compared to the village below. Staying here provides a truly unique experience, as once the gondola closes, you’re completely cut off from the rest of the world.
The apartment is designed to offer a warm and welcoming space, providing a perfect retreat from the surrounding nature and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It features a spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area where you can unwind and relax.

Worth knowing
Access to the location between 09:00 and 16:30 by cable car. No possibility to leave the hotel and go down to the village between 17:00 and 09:00. On Sunday and Wednesdays the Solaise gondola should be running between 17:00 and 22:45 to allow guests to visit the village, however the opening on Sundays is still to be confirmed.
The apartment includes access to all the hotel facilities, especially the 25 meters swimming pool, treatment rooms & Spa.
Who should go
Situated at 2551m the Penthouse is the highest apartment in Europe and offers a unique experience for travellers looking for something a little different and special during their stay in Val d'Isere.
They can also offer short stays from 2 or 3 nights, so this is could be a great compliment to a stay in their main hotel, or if you'd rather spend a few nights in the village, followed by a few nights up high in the mountains.
