Aquila 107 Apartment
4 bedroom Apartment in Val d'Isere. Sleeps 9
L'Aquila is a fabulous ski-in ski-out property located right at the foot of the ski slopes at the Rond Point area. It is a stone's throw away from the Solaise and Bellevarde cable cars, and a short walk to the town centre, shops and restaurants. The property is located very close to the starting point of the bus routes to all Val d’Isere ski areas.
L'Aquila is the new name for the Maeva building at Rond Point. Purchased by a developer, the building has undergone a complete restoration under the expert guidance of Alain Perrier, a prestigious local architect with an impressive portfolio of high-end properties designed and built by his firm.
The façade blends wood and stone, in perfect harmony with the traditional architecture of Val d'Isère. The balconies offer stunning views of the surrounding slopes and peaks, providing a scenic backdrop for your stay.
Inside, stylish designs, top-quality fixtures and fittings, and a carefully selected furniture range have been chosen especially for L'Aquila.
Upstairs, the open-plan sitting room features several chairs and sofas, comfortably seating up to eight people. The room includes a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV with SKY and DVD, as well as a micro hi-fi sound system. For those looking for some entertainment, the owner has also supplied a selection of English board games.
The dining area, situated just in front of you on the left as you ascend the stairs, is conveniently located near the kitchen. It features a combination of bench and chair seating for eight people. To your right is the modern kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar and three bar stools. It is well-equipped with a four-ring electric hob, a large fridge, a full-sized electric oven, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a dishwasher, and a washing machine.
The sitting room opens onto a balcony, offering views of the Solaise mountain and the nursery slope leading to the village. A similar aspect can be enjoyed from the downstairs balcony. A second balcony, with the same stunning outlook, is accessed from the fourth bedroom on this floor.
For guests with small children, the owner has thoughtfully provided a substantial travel cot. Additionally, guests have access to the property’s ski locker on the ground floor, which includes built-in racks for skis and heated boot racks.
