Chalet Atacama is located in the picturesque and peaceful hamlet of Le Fornet and can accommodate up to six guests in three stylish double bedrooms, plus a separate bunk bedroom sleeping an additional four. Located in the same building as Chalet Les Sources de l’Isère, Atacama is not only beautifully decorated – combining traditional timber detailing with contemporary finishes – but also a truly luxurious retreat after a day on the slopes, complete with a Jacuzzi bath and sauna. With daily cleaning included, you can simply relax and enjoy your holiday.
This stunning apart-chalet is just a five-minute walk from the Fornet téléphérique and the bottom of the Mangard piste. Le Fornet itself is quiet and charming, surrounded by stunning alpine scenery, with a restaurant by the lift open for lunch and several delightful mountain restaurants on the nearby slopes. For a livelier atmosphere, the centre of Val d’Isère – with its wide choice of restaurants, nightlife and shops – is an easy 5–10 minute ride away on the free resort bus, which stops around 100 metres from the chalet and runs every 10 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes in the evening.
