Sleeping up to 12 guests across five beautifully designed bedrooms, this stand-alone chalet spans three floors and has been newly renovated by internationally renowned interior designers, Turner Pocock. Chalet Abade offers a perfect blend of luxury and homely warmth, making it an ideal winter retreat for a large family or group of friends seeking sophistication and relaxation.
Prime location:
Chalet Abade is ideally located in a ski-in ski-out position, with the piste leading directly to the Olympique and Solaise lifts just steps away. From the giant velvet chaise lounge in the expansive living room, you can watch skiers glide by outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. The village centre is a mere 5-minute drive away, and the main lift station hub of Val d’Isère is just a 1-minute ski away. The chalet truly offers the best of both the slopes and the village.
Ground floor:
Entering the chalet, you’ll find a ski and boot room equipped with heated boot warmers, ensuring your boots are warm and ready for another day on the slopes. This floor also features three of the five bedrooms. Two twin/double bedrooms each have en-suite shower rooms, thoughtfully designed with sensor-activated bathroom lighting. The third bedroom is a spacious quad bunk room with an en-suite bathroom, featuring stunning patterned tiles and sleek finishes. The chalet’s spa facilities are also on this floor, including a hammam, rain shower, and tranquil massage room, offering the perfect space to unwind after a day of skiing. A large laundry room is discreetly located off the corridor.
First floor – entertaining space:
The first floor is dedicated to relaxation and entertainment. The stunning living area, with its double-height ceiling, exposed beams, grand fireplace, and striking chandelier, creates an immediate wow factor. Two sumptuous sofas, arranged back-to-back, offer the perfect spots for either relaxing by the fire or enjoying family board games, a cup of tea, or a good book. Expansive windows flood the room with natural light and frame the impressive views of the adjacent piste and mountains beyond.
The dining area, set between the living room and kitchen, is a beautiful space for meals with family and friends. Stylish wishbone chairs surround the elegant dining table, and an open fireplace adds warmth to the atmosphere. The state-of-the-art kitchen, located off the dining room, offers access to the balcony where you can enjoy al fresco dining with a table and chairs. The outdoor hot tub is perfect for soaking tired muscles after a day on the slopes while taking in the breathtaking mountain views. A cosy TV room off the hallway offers plush seating and a warm, intimate setting for family movie nights. The chalet is equipped with high-speed fibre optic Wi-Fi, Netflix, and Apple TV. There is also a guest WC on this floor.
Top floor – master bedroom suites:
The top floor is dedicated to the two impressive master double bedroom suites. The first master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and a private balcony offering perfect views of the mountains. The second master suite also boasts an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC. Both rooms are designed with sophistication and warmth, with soft, sensor-led lighting and plenty of built-in storage. The calming atmosphere of these rooms ensures a restful night’s sleep, so you’re ready for the next day on the slopes.

The Precision Ski Freeride rental shop can be found in the old pedestrian part of Val d'Isere village, just at the bottom of the pistes.
No need to carry your ski equipment around with you! Simply pick it up from the ski shop in resort. You can collect your equipment from at least 5pm the day before your 1st skiing day.

La Daille sits at the entrance to Val d’Isère and offers mostly high-rise self-catering apartments with a few traditional chalets. It’s ideal if you want a practical, budget-friendly base with great access to the Bellevarde ski area. A free bus takes you to the town centre in five minutes or you can enjoy a half-hour walk through the surrounding mountains. The village also has a handful of bars and restaurants.
