5 bedroom chalet in Val d'Isere. Sleeps 8+4
Located in the quiet hamlet of Le Fornet, a 5-minute drive from the centre of Val d'Isère and a 3-minute walk from the Le Fornet gondola station. Le Fornet provides the perfect location to experience some of the best off-piste skiing in Val d'Isère, yet a calm and peaceful retreat away from the busy town centre.
This 5-bedroom chalet is spread across three floors, complete with an indoor swimming pool, games room and a TV snug.
You enter the chalet on the ground floor into the boot room, complete with heated boot warmers, perfect for getting boots off quickly after a day of skiing. Coming off this room is a cosy TV and games room with a projector and pool table. Also on this level, separated by a door, creating its own distinct area, is the spa and pool area. Walking into this space is the large indoor swimming pool, with windows offering mountain views. Lounge chairs also complete this space for relaxing after a day of skiing. The spa area is complete with a peaceful sauna & hammam - the perfect tonic for aching muscles after a day on the slopes.
Heading upstairs, you reach the main sleeping floor, comprising all the bedrooms. The first of which is a spacious primary double bedroom - complete with TV and a spacious balcony, with stunning mountain views. The primary has its own ensuite bathroom with a glorious bath to soak in, a spacious walk-in shower, dressing room and separate toilet. This provides the perfect suite for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax in this mountain getaway.
Next door is the first of three similar, beautiful double bedrooms, each uniquely themed in its own colour scheme. The first is a cosy double bedroom, with access to a balcony shared with the other three double bedrooms, where you can wake up to beautiful mountain views for a moment of peace before you begin your day. This room has an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower.
Next door is a similar double room, spacious with wood cladding throughout. And access to the same balcony shared with the two double bedrooms. Also with its own ensuite shower room.
The final double bedroom on this floor is a spacious double room. This bedroom also leads out onto the large balcony shared with the two other bedrooms, with views out towards the Fornet ski area above. This is the perfect spot to begin your morning with a moment of quiet to start the day. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the bunk room next door, including a bath and a toilet. The final bedroom on this floor is the delightful bunk room, with four single beds perfect for the children to share and create lasting family memories. The bunk room also has a door to the outdoor area. The bunk room shares the bathroom next door with the bedroom opposite. To note, this bathroom only has a bath and a toilet, no shower.
Heading up to the main living floor is the wonderful open-plan living and dining area, framed by the huge floor-to-ceiling windows in this space, flooding the space with light, and providing gorgeous mountain views. The kitchen is expertly equipped for all your chef's desires, meaning you can whip up a feast in no time. Just in front of the kitchen is the dining table, seating 8, enjoy your breakfast looking out at breathtaking mountain views. Leading out from this space is the large, spacious balcony, perfect for soaking up that glorious mountain sunshine. The plush, cosy sofas surround the fireplace, perfect for curling up here to relax after a busy day skiing and regaling tales of the day. There is also a useful WC, tucked away in this space. Completing this floor, just next to the living room, is a cosy TV snug, perfect for letting the children do their own thing whilst the adults entertain next door.

It’s ideal if you want a practical, budget-friendly base with great access to the Bellevarde ski area. A free bus takes you to the town centre in five minutes or you can enjoy a half-hour walk through the surrounding mountains. The village also has a handful of bars and restaurants.
