Ideally located in the private area of Le Crêt, this chalet enjoys lovely views of the entire valley, from the rocky cliffs above La Daille across pretty Val d'Isère to the glaciers and snowcapped peaks beyond.

The chalet interior focuses on natural materials such as wood, stone, wool, metal and leather. The owner has handcrafted many of the pieces and some pieces are actually repurposed from traditional local objects, such as a coffee table made from an old-fashioned cider press.

The chalet features a double height sitting room, a generous dining area, a well-stocked bar, reading and games corners on the mezzanine and wraparound balconies giving access to the hot tub.

Other spa facilities include an indoor swimming pool, hammam, massage area, and well-equipped fitness area.

To complete the chalet, there is also a sound-proofed cinema room with tiered seating.

Sleeping

The chalet sleeps up to 15 people in 7 bedrooms plus an additional chilren's bunk room which are configured as follows:

  • Bedroom 1 - Master with twin/super-king and south-facing balcony
  • Bedroom 2 - Second master with twin/super-king with a Juliet balcony
  • Bedroom 3 - Twin or super-king with a Juliet balcony
  • Bedroom 4 - Twin or super-king with access to a large shared balcony
  • Bedroom 5 - Twin or super-king with access to a large shared balcony
  • Bedroom 6 - Twin or super-king with a west-facing balcony
  • Bedroom 7 - Twin or super-king with terrace access

All bedrooms are en-suite and suitable for cots

Dining

The property is let on a catered basis and includes the following:

  • Breakfast consisiting of a freshly made "smoothie" or fruit / vegetable juice, fresh coffees, teas, yoghurts, cereals, porridge, a hot dish - like a "Eggs Royale" or a "full English breakfast", jambon cru, cheeses, fresh fruit salad, fresh bread and freshly baked croissants and jams.
  • Afternoon Tea (every day) - homemade cakes and biscuits
  • Dinner (6 nights) - canapés and champagne followed by a four-course meal, rounded off with freshly ground coffee, a digestif and homemade truffles.
  • Carefully selected wines
  • Children's supper every day if required
