Explore the resorts and villages around Val d'Isère, many of which are linked to the main resort.

Before you reach Val d'Isere is the small resort of La Daille. La Daille is 2km from Val d'Isere and consists mainly of apartment blocks. It also has it's own access to the slopes and the wider Tignes-Val d'Isere ski area. The main village is Val d'Isere itself, and here is where you will find the best choice of hotels and apartments, along with great access to the ski area, and plenty of restaurants, shops and bars.

Just 5 minutes up from the centre of Val d'Isere are the little areas of Le Joseray, La Legettaz and Le Chatelard, all of which lie on the mountainside and offer quieter and more exclusive holiday chalet accommodation. Le Laisinant is a hamlet with its own lift further on from Val d'Isere towards Le Fornet, which itself is a pretty village with good quality accommodation and it's own access to the Val d'Isere ski area. Shuttle buses connect Le Fornet to Val d'Isere and La Daille throughout the day and night. Take a look at the piste map to see where the villages are located.
