La Taverne d'Alsace Restaurant

Alsatian specialities and French brasserie dishes mingle to please every palate

Location
Val d’Isere

After a great day skiing, enjoy the delicious dishes at this restaurant. The traditions of Alsace and a wide range of French "brasserie" dishes come together to offer a menu rich in tastes and pleasures.

The restaurant is situated on the main resort road just a short walk from the ski front. It is based within the traditional alpine Kandahar Hotel.

French classics meet Alsatian and regional dishes to please every palate. Snack on a crispy Tarte Flambée while sipping on a cool white wine such as flowery Muscat, a spicy Gewurztraminer or a sparkling Crémant. Then, choose a dish from one of their Alsatian classics, such as Salade Strasbourgeoise, Alsatian style Snails, Choucroute Royale, Home-Made Meatloaf and Baeckeoffe, or one of their specials like the surprising Hot&Cold Filet of Beef or the Creamy Scallop Risotto.

The carefully chosen wine list complements the menu perfectly, with local and international wines to accompany all dishes and please all palates.

Open every day in winter and summer from 19:00 to 23:00. Bar from 17:30 to 00:30.
