Rockslide blocks Col d'Iseran mountain pass
Road blocked on Bonneval side of Col d'Iseran
A rockfall has completely blocked the road on the Col de l'Iseran below the Pont des Neiges, 3 km below further down the Maurienne side of the col.
Overnight approximately 100m² of rock fell onto the road, blocking both lanes.The road services team are currently working to clear the road and make a risk analysis on the surrounding area - at this stage it is unclear when the Col d'Iseran will reopen.
