Val d'Isere Resort Logistics

Val d'Isere resort is made up of one central town, with some outlying villages. The main town has a traditional old centre which has been developed into a modern Alpine resort. The villages on it's outskirts are: Le Cret, Le Fornet, La Daille, Le Joseray, Le Chatelard, La Legettaz and Le Leggettaz.

The main town and the villages are connected via a free shuttle bus service, which runs throughout the day and night in the winter season. There are 3 lines which connect all the villages from Le Fornet, La Daille, and Legettaz to the Rond Point in central Val d'Isere and the pistes. Val d'Isere also has direct buses to the nearest large town, Bourg Saint Maurice.

For Val d'Isere resort, there are transfers available from Geneva and Lyon Airports and Bourg Saint Maurice Train Station. In resort, there are two drop-off points in La Daille and Val d'Isere Centre. From these stops you should be within easy reach of your accommodation on foot, or via the local bus networks. Taxis are also available for getting around the resort (advance booking recommended).

To reach Val d'Isere from Geneva Airport, there is a direct shuttle bus, so it couldn't be easier! The bus is operated by the AlpSkiBus line. It runs throughout the winter season and the journey takes approx. 4h.

Bourg Saint Maurice Train Station Route

Bourg Saint Maurice Train Station is located a short distance from Val d'Isere resort and is served by SNCF train lines from Lyon Part Dieu, Paris, but also Amsterdam, Brussels and London!

The journey from Bourg Saint Maurice - Val d'Isere is via a direct shuttle service from Bourg Saint Maurice Bus Station, located next to the Train Station. It runs during the winter and summer seasons and is only a 1h journey.
