  • "We have been coming to La Peau de Vache for several years now and it never disappoints. The staff are fantastic - friendly, welcoming and very generous with the Genepy shots! It was my friend's birthday and the staff made his day extra special - thank you! The food is sublime - one of the tenderest, juiciest steaks I have ever had. The interior of the restaurant is super cosy and on a sunny day the terrace has an amazing view over the Val D'Isere valley. I'd recommend booking in advance as it can get busy." - Trip Advisor
  • "It's beautifully located half way down the Face run, but weaker skiers can take a chair lift. Inside, candlelight and sheep skins greet you as do friendly servers (this is France!). Food is unpretentious but excellent, majoring on beef (steaks and burgers) but the veggie options are good too. Cafe Gourmand is to die for. 3 of us had a superb lunch for 138€ including wine and a free glass of Genepi. It was I am sure coincidence that my wife somersaulted her way down the ski run after lunch. We will definitely be back!" - Trip Advisor
  • "The cutest little restaurant at the top of the chairlift - noticeable for it's 2CV out the front. It's nearly 100% candle-lit with (surprisingly) cow skins everywhere. Lovely staff, gorgeous wines and the food is incredible. The burgers are very big but if you possibly can, have the onion soup too as it was the best I've ever tasted. It's very in-demand so make sure you book." - Trip Advisor
