Thanks to the Pissaillas glacier (known as the Val d'Isère glacier) summer skiing in Val d'Isere is possible - the snow coverage on the glacier is helped by a number of snow canons and the ski area is served by three ski lifts: TK du Montet, TK Cote 3000 and the Cascade Express.

From Saturday 6th June until Sunday 12th July the slopes will open only in the morning, between 07:00 and 12:00. In the summer the snow gets slushy very quickly so heading up early in the morning will mean you will get the best snow!

A shuttle is in place for summer skiing enthusiasts to get the glacier, leaving the Fornet, at 07:15, 07:45, 08:45, 09:45, 11:15 and 12:15.
