We all love watching videos of wingsuit pilots, paragliders and some of the world's best skiers and snowboarders tearing down the mountain, but now thanks to a groundbreaking new video game, the star of the show could be you...

Developed not far from here in Annecy, "Steep" is being launched on 2nd December 2016 and features not only some incredible graphics but also some of the Alps which you may well recognise.

Freeride skiers suck as Kevin Rolland, base jumper Luke Aikins, Freeride world tour snowboarder Sammy Luebke and professional paraglider Horacio Llorens have all played key parts in advising the developers and helping to make the movement and game play as realistic as possible.

The video above is the official trailer for the game, and the one below shows some of the actual game play, but be warned although it's pretty funny to watch, it does contain some strong language! (Parental guidance required).

Open beta testing on the game will take place from 18-21st November. Find out more on their website and on facebook.
