25 000 people for New Year in Tignes
Tignes is calming down after the biggest New Years party we have ever seen in the resort. 25 000 people turned out to see Laurent Wolf welcome in 2010 and the party and fireworks will be hard to beat.
The snow conditions are very good as the cold temperatures have kept both the piste and off piste in excellent condition, do watch out if you are heading into the off piste as conditions are still unstable in certian areas.
If you want to practce your off piste technique in a safer enviroment then head over to the freeride zone in Le Palet, where the area is secured but un-pisted, you can also practice avalanche search and rescue in their Arva-zone atht the bottom of the Grattalu lift.
