Children's torchlit descent

Children light up the slopes at night

Children can take part in their very own torchlit descent with the instructors from the ESF.

Open to all children with 2nd star level skiing and above. Electric torches and Haribo sweets are handed out at the foot of the slopes at Place Caron.

Register in advance at the ESF school Place Caron. Free for children having ESF lessons, small entry fee for all other participants.

Upcoming Events

Val d'Isère hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. There are constant ski racing competitions throughout the winter, as well as the much anticipated La Scara youth event each April. In the summer, the resort plays home to some major trail running events such as the High Trail Vanoise in July, with Tour de France stages often passing nearby in July.
