Come backstage in Val d'Isère to see what really goes on behind the scenes; you can visit the machine room and find out more about the CATEX system (cable transported explosives).
The visit lasts one hour and takes place in the afternoon, it is open to anyone from seven years old and a lift pass is compulsory.
It is necessary to sign up in advance for this free visit at the Tourist Office (20 places available, 5 minimum).
The visits are conducted in French and English, meeting point is in front of the Solaise ski pass office.
