Get involved in a night ski touring race that is open to all, comprising a 480m ascent through La Daille forest to the Folie Douce.

Participants will set off in 20-second intervals for a timed ascent, solo, in pairs or a group. Free mulled wine afterwards.

Headlamp obligatory, plus medical certificate for those not registered with FFME / FFCAM. 

You can also find everything you need in most ski hire shops in Val d'Isère. Free entries at the sports club.

Dynastar ski mountaineering equipment available for test. .

Val d'Isère hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. There are constant ski racing competitions throughout the winter, as well as the much anticipated La Scara youth event each April. In the summer, the resort plays home to some major trail running events such as the High Trail Vanoise in July, with Tour de France stages often passing nearby in July.
