Is there a local market in Val d'Isere?

There is a local street market every Monday throughout the year in the resort centre. It is probably not suitable for getting a cheap shopping trip done but is ideal if you are looking for speciality items or souvenirs. The stalls sell local food produce from the Savoie region, ski wear and gifts including locally designed items such as hats, gloves, and jewellery.
