Speed Rider Suffers A Fatal Accident in Val d'Isere Yesterday

Holiday maker practising speed riding sadly dies as a result of his injuries

Rescue crews were called by skiers in Le Fornet to the body of a man who had crashed into rocks while speed riding.

The man broke his skis with the force of the impact and was carried a further 80 metres down the hill, where he was found around 14:30 yesterday afternoon.

6 rescue workers came to the scene and tried to resuscitate him, but unfortunately, the 41 year old French man died on the scene as a result of his injuries.
