Ski lifts across France are set to stop for 1 minute at noon today as a mark of solidarity against the attack in Paris yesterday where 12 people were killed at the magazine office of Charlie Hebdo.

Police have made numerous arrests overnight but the man hunt still continues for the suspects of the brutal murders.

A minutes silence will be held in the UK (11am UK time) and the bells of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris will toll.
