Train strike affects travel to Val d'Isere

A train strike by SNCF staff over working conditions, is going to take place in the Rhone Alps region on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th May.

Cities and towns affected by the strike are as follows:

Lyon, Saint-Etienne, Bourg st Maurice, Roanne, Dijon, Grenoble, Chambery, Bourg-en-Bresse, Geneva, Annecy, Modane, Valence and Macon.

Anyone travelling by train in the Rhone-Alps region should consult the regional SNCF website after 4pm for the latest updates and information.
