It seems a bit unseasonal to start digging out the goggles when our long-awaited 'Indian summer' is finally putting in an appearance but tomorrow marks the start of winter in Tignes.

The glacier will be open daily from 8:30am until 2:30pm – chairlift access only until the cable car opens on the 8th. Lift passes cost 27 euros for adults and 22.50 euros for children.

The rest of the Espace Killy (Tignes & Val d’Isere resorts) is due to open on 26th November, so get up on to the glacier in the meantime for a bit of pre-season practise!
