Kilian Jornet & Emelie Forsberg Take Podium Places

The 2013 ISF Skyrunning Ice Trail Tarentaise has been won by Kilian Jornet in the mens and Emelie Forsberg in the women's.

The Ice Trail Tarentaise covers 65 km with 5,000m vertical ascent & descent and reaches its highest point of 3653m at ‘Grande Motte’- this ultra race is part of the International Skyrunning Federation sky runner 2013 calendar.
The ISF are taking the lead in setting the standard for trail running world championships.

Kilian Jornet lead the mens and set a new course record of 7:35:32, only days after setting a new record for the fastest ascent & descent of Mont Blanc.
Whilst Emelie Forsberg won the women's with a hour ahead of her nearest competitor, also setting a new course record of 9:11:11.
