British Skier Injured in 30m Fall
Brit in Hospital after fall in Val d'Isere
A British skier was taken to hospital in Bourg St Maurice yesterday after falling 30m off a cliff in Val d'Isere.
According to France 3 the man was skiing off piste in the Charvet sector of Val d'Isere when he fell off a band of rocks. The man, who has not yet been named but has been confirmed as a Brit, broke his ribs, wrist and elbow as well as suffering serious back and head head injuries. He was taken to hospital in Bourg St Maurice.
