The Ice Trail Tarentaise boasts the highest highest trail race in Europe with 65km of trail and over 5000m height gain.
Leaving Val d'Isere at 4:00 the route covers the following :

Tignes - Grande Motte (1st runners to arrive at 6:45)

Chalet du Charvet - Ruisseau de la Gd Tête (1st runners to arrive at 7:45)

Val d'Isère - Refuge du Fond des Fours (1st runners to arrive at 9:00)

Val d'Isère - Pont de la neige (1st runners to arrive at 9:45)
-
Col de l'Iseran (1st runners to arrive at 11:00)
-
Val d'Isère - Parc des sports Charles Diebold for the finish (1st runners to arrive at 11:45)
As well as the Ice Trail there are a number of other races taking place at the same time: Altispeed (32km/2500m+), Les Balcons de Val d'Isere (18km/1300m+), Montagnard (12.5km/1400m+), Trail Jeunes (1.5km/62m+).
