Electric Cars Available in Val d'Isere
Val goes green with 40 emission free cars available for hire
After announcing the retirement of the 4X4 show and the replacement electric car show to debut next summer, Val d'Isere is taking its green image one step further with a fleet of electric cars to be available throughout the resort.
The town council and tourist office have just completed further field tests of the Renault Twizy, an electric Smart-car-sized car that is said to handle well in the snow. The plan is to have a fleet of 40 electric cars available to hire throughout the resort.
The exact details of the offer is yet to be defined.
