Val d'Isere Snow Report: 4th February 2014

A dusting of snow overnight far more on the horizon

Thanks to Roddy from Pro Snowboarding Val d'Isere for today's report.

There was alight dusting of snow last night in Tignes and Vald'Isere and it did top up some of today's off piste but the real winners are those who like to ski on the groomed runs at the moment.

The pistes were superb in the Espace Killy today, with fast snow that still gives a grip when you edge into it. It makes even the steeper slopes like OK and Orange in Val or the runs down to Tignes from the top of the Tovier a joy. The only slight disappointment today was that it was quite cloudy and viaibility wasn't great, but these clouds are bringing in a fresh snow storm and by the end of the week there should be a fresh thirty centimetres of snow fall.
