Visitor comments

  • "I joined the advanced off-piste "steep and deep" class lead by guide Christophe. I had the best week's skiing I have had in 30 years. Christophe knew the Val d'isere mountains like the back of his hand and every day led us to new powder and challenging descents. Most important - he had a very keen sense of safety. Great value and would recommend." - Trip Advisor
  • "The best ski school / guides in Val d'Isere. I have been there numerous times over the last 15 years and have found them to be the best and also the politest of the Val d'Isere ski schools / guides." - Trip Advisor
  • "It's been my second year in a row with Oxygen. They offer a really good package 5x4 hours (9-13) of off piste skiing for a reasonable price. If you like off piste skiing, but you have no one to do it with (possibly because you are on holiday with your family :) ) than this is a good way to enjoy your time. My instructor even took me for a touring trip to Pointe De La Sana and it waw great." - Trip Advisor

What to bring

Oxygene will provide all safety equipment. They recommend helmets for everyone going off-piste, plus wrist guards and protective impact shorts for snowboarders. Make sure you are wearing thermals, gloves, sun cream, sunglasses or goggles. You should feel comfortable in your boots – one pair of socks is sufficient and store them in a warm, dry place overnight.
