Val d'Isere Dump Alert: 7th March 2017

Over two metres of snow has fallen during the past two weeks and the village is slowly shutting down.

This morning the road to the Fornet has been closed to all circulation, stranding people at that end of the village for the time being. (My terrace had no snow two weeks ago!)

The road towards the Club Med is also closed (Le Chatelard) I don’t think we’ll do too much skiing this morning...

The avalanche risk has now increased to 4/5. If you want to check on which lifts are running this morning, head to our Live Lift Status Page
